SpeakEzy
We are a friendly group teaching ESOL. Our team of competent volunteer tutors
and assistants are keen to help you to "Speak English With Confidence".
There are two sessions every Monday except on School Holidays. Our Morning Session is at 10.00am and our Evening Session is at 7.00pm. Each session has a different topic; you are welcome to attend both sessions.
The SpeakEzy theme for 2009 focussed on:
Vocabulary, oxymorons, idioms/sayings, pronunciation, and fluency.
This year our focus is on A B C.
Our Topics are interesting, providing you with an opportunity to learn and speak everyday English. Our free and friendly sessions will improve your communication skills, teach you NZ history and culture, and you will have fun while learning.
Occasionally we include VIPs (Guest Speakers), and Field Trips to interesting and educational places. There is a BreakUp Party at the end of the Year.
The Tea/Coffee breaks require a small donation. There are no fees.
